A message from A Word from the Lord Ministries by Archbishop Foley Beach | Jesus’s Followers are called to lift each other up.
Be completely humble and gentle. Be patient bearing with one another in love. Oh, that we could get this in the midst of our being: that our calling is to honor each other, to lift each other up, to praise one another, to encourage each other.Â
How often in the church do we get our feathers ruffled and we begin gawking and acting like a bunch of turkeys? Too many of us are not responding to God’s call, but we’re doing our duty. After all, isn’t that what we’ve been taught?Â
Our service to God is more than duty to or obligation. It’s calling. It’s in response to Him.Â

A message from A Word from the Lord Ministries by Archbishop Foley Beach | The Power of Prayer and Fasting
There are times in our life where we need direction from the Lord. There are times where you and I need clarity. We need to gain understanding. We need knowledge and insight from the Lord about the specific things that you and I are going through, and the Lord will speak to us.Â
But sometimes it takes us fasting to hear Him, and the Scripture is just loaded with examples of that. I think of the prophet Joel when he received a word that the land was going to be destroyed. What did He do? He called a fast. There are some things that have to be dealt with by prayer and fasting. Fasting releases a spiritual power that I just can’t explain.Â
A message from A Word from the Lord Ministries by Archbishop Foley Beach | Sharing God’s Love with Others
He’s blessed us so that we might be blessed in other people. He’s healed us so that we might bring God’s healing power to others. He saved us so that we might be His ambassadors.Â
We are in a world of people all around us that are in such pain and such agony and are hurting, and we have the answer. But we keep it to ourselves by not speaking, but also in the way we live and act and treat one another.Â
Walk the walk, talk the talk and share Him with other people.
